Our Mission
Mounthaven’s mission is to educate the whole child physically, mentally, morally and spiritually for the betterment of humanity and the glory of God. We embrace a child-centric, project-based philosophy of education that inspires students’ active engagement with their school, their teachers, their surrounding communities, and beyond.
Our Journey
Mounthaven was formed during the COVID-19 pandemic by a group of Christian parents who felt compelled to ensure their children had access to best-in-class, personalized instruction irrespective of the learning medium. Our blended onsite/online learning platforms allow for classroom teaching, remote learning, and/or homeschooling, addressing the needs of our students and parents, providing stability during a time of uncertainty, and offering a sustainable educational model for the future.

Our Approach
Student learning is individualized to meet their unique needs. As a part of our admissions process, each student receives a Personalized Educational Pathway from our Director of Innovation which will guide their educational journey with us.
Our Programs
Our school’s extracurricular activities include both sports (e.g. cross-country, basketball and soccer) and non-sporting activities (e.g. chess, debate and robotics). In addition, we offer an online summer enrichment program encompassing ELA, math, chess, robotics and interactive foreign language instruction.
